Read this article in DeutschNo matter how bright I light up my daylight lamp and turn up “Like ice in the sunshine” – the bikini days are over and that can’t be denied. Some are looking forward and others (me) almost need a therapist to cope with the summer end. Since it’s time to switch back to cozy outfits, I have put together a knit wish list with a few half-warm favorites for the transition. Knitted tops, knitted skirts or knitted dresses are exactly the right compromise between two seasons – in addition, normal knit like sweaters alone is almost boring. Knit is the new black, or so! My approach to the fall: the knitted jumpsuit street style.
Autumn is here
To let the nerd speak: “Winter is coming”. I’m not really happy about the end of summer – I’m not one of those pumpkin spice Starbucks girls, who would like to throw themselves into the first pile of leaves. With all the sloppy dog owners in Berlin I’d leave it anyway. I like summer. Call me strange, but I enjoy sitting outside in the park in the sunshine instead of having to crawl inside. I unfortunately have no cuddly carmine but an old apartment in Kreuzberg, which gets cold damn fast. Also, Berlin is only beautiful in summer.
If you’d like to have more summer like me, do not worry, Spark&Bark still has a lot of summer looks to show, because some photographers have sent me our photos from summer shoots that late.
Knitted jumpsuit street style
The simple fact that the jumpsuit is knitted makes it immediately 100% cooler in my eyes. It feels super soft and I like it very much – although I would find it boring made of any other fabric. I’ll wear the knitted jumpsuit again soon with black band-shirt, cap, leatherjacke and boots.
My hair is so brutally messy in the pictures, because the day before I played a Sci-Fi Chick with gigantic hairstyle for a Netflix series. The messy hair didn’t go for days, so much did they kill it. So yes, totally wanted “messy grunge” look!
Knit as a material is super beautiful on tops, skirts or dresses – it is somehow more unusual. So I wanted to put together a knit wish list without the usual suspects “scarf” and “sweater”. For the transitional period such knitwear tops with a jacket are perfect and the black pants made of knit I find particularly cool – I also have heavy knit trousers with a pattern at home waiting for the right combination. Super sweet are fluffy tops. Go over the pictures – the sale is totally crazy at the moment!
Do you wear tops or skirts made of knit or do you stick to sweaters only?
